I earned my Art therapy degree in 2011, and before that received a Bachelor of Art in Mathematics. I had always loved both math and art since I was young, but eventually I realized that the art studio was my true happy place.
Art gave me a new language, a voice. I saw for myself how the process of making art could express things I didn’t know how to put into words. From then on I knew I wanted to help others find their voices too.
I am Queer, anti-racist, neurodiversity affirming, and committed to the ongoing work and education necessary to uphold these values and regularly check my personal biases. Your safety to feel able to be yourself in my presence is something I take very seriously.
